WARDROBE PERSON
Pay
Although pay for wardrobe people varies, it is safe to say that you will earn an average of $10 to $20 per hour. You may be paid in one lump sum for a production. At the top of the profession, if you are the costume designer or wardrobe master/mistress, you could earn as much as $2,300 per week. As wardrobe people are often self-employed, they find work from film to film, often on short-term contracts. Expect to work long, sometimes irregular hours, for days at a time, and even on weekends or evenings to get a project done.
