This is a megadirectory with more than 300 sites relating to CAD/CAM. It evaluates software, hardware, and books relating to the field.

Earth Observing System (EOS)
This site has information about the NASA project for the twenty-first century, Mission to Planet Earth. The Earth Observing System via GPS is an important part of this mission.

Geological Survey of Canada
This site features a bookstore with books relating to surveying and links to other geoscience organizations.

U.S. Geological Survey
This is a global site with information on earthquakes, flooding, and other upheavals on the planet, plus mapping and remote sensing. Links will take you everywhere on, under, and above the surface of the earth. From this site you can find the EROS (Earth Resources Observation System) site.

This is one of the standard books in the field. It is an introduction to map scale, projecting, and map graphics.
