Roboguards
A German company, Robowatch Technologies, has developed MOSRO (Mobile Sicherheitsroboter), a robot security guard. MOSRO patrols indoor areas such as malls, parking garages, and factories. It can be equipped with up to 240 sensors for detecting motion, smoke, heat, and gas. It can issue verbal warnings to troublemakers in more than twenty languages. OFRO (Mobile Freilandüberwachung) is MOSRO's partner, working outdoors to patrol the perimeters of military bases, airports, industrial complexes, and other large areas. OFRO is weatherproof and can detect intruders with multiple sensors and thermo-cameras.
