GROUNDSKEEPER
Outlook
Every landowning entity (including corporations, amusement parks, professional sports organizations, the government, public institutions like schools and universities, home owners, apartment complexes, and city parks) has a need for beautification and the upkeep of its grounds. Demand is increasing for landscaping and groundskeeping services as construction of commercial and industrial complexes, homes, parks, and highways has continued to grow. In addition, turnover among landscapers and groundskeepers is high, so it is usually easy to find an entry-level job. This means groundskeepers can find satisfying work in just about any location: urban, rural, or suburban. You can work as part of the groundskeeping staff at a large institution, for a private contractor, or even go into business for yourself.
