The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) Training Opportunities
TIES offers specialized programs in coordination with:
- University-based programs: For training partnerships with universities, TIES is generally responsible for curriculum development and course implementation, while the university coordinates publicity and registration for the course.
- Government and NGO-sponsored programs: TIES designs curricula that can be used as part of ecotourism training programs for host governments and non-government organizations (NGOs) interested in upgrading the skills of local professionals in the field of ecotourism.
- Private-sector sponsored programs: TIES provides tailored training programs to the personnel of specific tourism companies.
