Education And Training
Training in electronics or telecommunications is available through community colleges, technical institutes, the armed forces, correspondence courses, and via the Internet. Equipment manufacturers and software developers also provide training, and formal apprenticeship programs have been established. It is wise to aim for certification in this field. Certification is available from ISCET (the International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians) and ETA (Electronics Technicians Association).
