LANDSCAPER

Outlook

Landscaping jobs are expected to increase about as fast as the average for all other occupations through 2005. Most jobs are found in urban and suburban areas across the United States where there are large open spaces and a lot of new construction sites.

Annual salaries for landscapers range from about $23,000 to $60,000. Managers and supervisors for large landscaping firms earn at the higher end of the range, or more. Owners of landscaping businesses may also earn more, depending on the number of clients and whether those clients are residential or business customers. In general, business projects are larger and can pay more than residential customers.
