TRAVEL AGENT

Your First Customers

You are a travel agent. A family of four comes to you wanting to go to Disney World for the Fourth of July holiday. They want to save money by sharing a non-smoking room with two beds. See if you can make all the arrangements using the Internet. Just don't put in a credit card number!

  1. Find the cheapest flight on the dates they want to travel, but try to make the trip with only one change of planes. How far ahead do they need to reserve?
  2. Make hotel reservations. You will need to know how many rooms and what kind of beds, and whether the rooms are smoking or non-smoking.
  3. Arrange for a rental car, or find out about public transportation.
  4. Get tickets for Disney World.
  5. Compare your price with a package tour, which you can find advertised on travel Web sites or in the travel section of your newspaper.
