FRANCHISE OWNER

Education And Training

Technically, a high school diploma is all you need to enter the franchising game. Running a franchise requires intensive research. Once you've secured an initial investment, you should explore all of the franchise options that are available. A good way to do this is to attend a franchise exposition. These are usually held in convention centers or large venues and give prospective franchise owners a chance to “window shop.” Seeing many different franchisors can help you decide which business is the right one for you.

It is logical to choose a franchise that offers the maximum support for the minimum royalty payment. Many franchises have short-term schools in which they teach you the basics of running a business. Some franchises continue to offer support in the form of manuals and toll-free assistance lines to the franchise owners they work with.
