Game Testing and Marketing
Game Testing, Marketing
Before a video game can be placed on store shelves, it has to be adequately tested and marketed. This is where the professions of game tester and marketer come into play. The game tester is usually on the development team, although some production teams hire their own game testers as the game gets closer to its release date. Game testers look for bugs within the software to make sure that the game runs without a hitch. The marketer uses advertising to alert the public as much as possible about the video game before it goes on sale. Marketers are on the production side. If you've got patience, diligence, and a love for video games, one of these two professions might suit you well.
