The outlook for careers in the pet shop world is good. People are buying pets and pet products left and right, and as long as people love animals they'll continue to do so. If you're thinking about working in a pet store, you should have no trouble finding work.

Expect to be paid minimum wage when you first start out working in a pet store. Most stores are small and can't afford to pay their employees much money. Once you gain experience, however, you should get a raise. Eventually you'll earn enough to make a good living, especially if you decide to run your own business.
