Preparing for College

Even at this early stage in your career, it is beneficial to gain exposure to the activities associated with a medical environment or with social service. This may involve contact with patients as well as working with individuals in need of personal help. Possible opportunities for such experiences may be secured at hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and clinics. Working with impaired children privately or at a facility or tutoring disadvantaged youngsters are valuable experiences.
